SIX DEGREES

Leon Forest is a visually impaired 16-year-old: he is completely blind in one eye, but he can see exactly six degrees (out of the normal 180 degrees) in his other eye. Raised and homeschooled by his single mother, Leon’s insulated world completely falls apart when she suddenly dies. Leon moves to the city to live with his biological father, his wife and their four children. Leon grieves the loss of his mother, but he also makes new and exciting discoveries like going to public school, making new friends and even falling in love! Soon, Leon carves out a space for himself and manages to feel at home.
